Robert Fraga'S Cuban Black Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. black beans
    10 c. water
    2/3 c. olive oil
    2 large green peppers
    1 large onion
    4 cloves garlic
    4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1 bay leaf
    2 oz. sliced pimentos
    2 Tbsp. white sugar
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. red cooking wine (dry)

    Soak beans overnight, cook for 3 hours.
