Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter (1 stick)
    4 oz. chocolate
    4 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sifted flour
    1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation
    Melt butter and chocolate in double boiler; cool.
    Beat eggs and salt until light and foamy.
    Gradually add sugar and vanilla and continue beating until well creamed.
    With a few strokes (mix manually), combine chocolate into egg/sugar mixture.
    Before mixture becomes uniformly colored, fold in flour.
    Again, before mixing is uniformly colored, gently stir in pecans or walnuts. Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan for 25 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
