Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. pecans
    3 Tbsp. butter
    2/3 c. brown sugar
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. light corn syrup (Karo)
    1/2 c. sweet cream
    few grains salt
Preparation
    Cream butter; slowly beat in sugar and salt. Add 1 egg at a time and beat briskly. Blend entire mixture. Pour into pastry lined pie pan for 8-inch pie. Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake until custard sets, about 35 to 40 minutes.
