Scalloped Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can tomatoes (1 lb. size)
    1 onion, cut into small pieces
    2 slices bread, cubed
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    salt and pepper to taste
    butter
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients in proper sized buttered baking dish.
    Dot generously with butter.
    Bake, uncovered, slowly until bread browns a bit, at least 1 1/2 hours in 325\u00b0 oven.
