Whole Wheat Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. whole wheat flour
    2 Tbsp. melted shortening
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. sour milk
Preparation
    Mix all dry ingredients thoroughly (do not sift). Add shortening, unbeaten egg and sour milk.
    Beat only until smooth. Fill well oiled muffin tins 2/3 full. Bake in hot oven at 425\u00b0 about 25 minutes.
