Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 c. cornmeal
3 Tbsp. baking powder
1/3 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. chopped onion
milk

Preparation

Mix dry ingredients.
Add enough milk to make dough stiff enough to drop from a teaspoon into hot deep fat.
Cook until brown and drain on paper towels.
