Turkey Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground turkey
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
3/4 c. dried kidney beans, cooked
1 c. water
3 medium tomatoes, peeled and chopped
1 (6 oz.) can (no-salt) tomato paste
1 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. dried oregano leaves
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/8 tsp. ground red pepper
30 fat free saltine crackers
Preparation

In large heavy pot, brown turkey; pour off any excess fat. Add onion, green pepper and garlic; cook 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add beans, water, tomatoes, tomato paste, chili powder, oregano, cumin and red pepper; cover.
Simmer for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
Serve hot with crackers.
