Russian Teacakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. powdered sugar
    2 1/4 c. flour
    3/4 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation
    Mix butter, sugar and vanilla thoroughly.
    Measure flour by sifting.
    Blend flour and salt; stir into butter mixture. Mix in nuts. Chill at least 2 hours.
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Roll dough into 1-inch balls.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake 10 to 12 minutes while still warm.
    Roll in powdered sugar.
    Cool and roll in sugar again.
    Makes 4 dozen.
