Kraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 lb.) can kraut
    2/3 c. vinegar
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. celery, chopped
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1/2 c. green pepper
Preparation
    Bring sugar and vinegar to a boil.
    Set aside to cool.
    Mix vegetables with kraut.
    Pour liquid over mixture.
    Let set in refrigerator for 24 hours.
    Keeps a long time.
