Potato Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4-5 medium potatoes, peeled & sliced
    1 large onion, peeled & sliced
    6-8 slices Velveeta
    2 (10 oz) cans mushroom soup
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp pepper
    1 cup sharp cheese, grated
Preparation
    In a 9X13 baking dish, layer onions, potatoes, Velveeta. Repeat onions and potatoes.
    Salt and pepper.
    Pour soup over all and top with grated cheese.
    (soup may be diluted with 1/3 cup milk.) Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Test potatoes for doneness.
