Seven-Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head iceberg lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces
    1 (12 oz.) can peas, drained
    3 to 4 stalks celery, sliced or chopped
    1 Bermuda onion, chopped
    1 to 2 c. mayonnaise (spread to cover and seal the first four layers)
    1 c. Parmesan cheese
    6 to 10 slices bacon, crumbled
Preparation
    In a large bowl, layer the following:
    lettuce, peas, celery, onion and mayonnaise.
    Cover mayonnaise with Parmesan cheese.
    Top with bacon.
    Cover and refrigerate approximately 8 hours prior to serving.
    Serves 8 to 10.
