Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (12 oz.) pkg. frozen hash browns
    4 c. milk
    1 small onion
    3/4 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. salt
    bacon bits to taste
    1 (8 oz.) small jar Cheez Whiz
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter.
    Mix hash browns and milk. Add to onion. Add remaining ingredients and cook slowly until potatoes are tender and cheese is melted.
