Good Layer Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 stick butter
    4 eggs
    3 c. self-rising sifted flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter with Crisco and eggs, one at a time. Alternate flour and buttermilk; add vanilla.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
