Whole Wheat Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. dry yeast
2 1/2 Tbsp. honey
1/2 c. warm water
1 c. milk
2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. salt
2 Tbsp. wheat germ
2 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1 1/2 to 1 3/4 c. flour
Preparation

In small mixing bowl, sprinkle yeast and 1 tablespoon honey into warm water.
Let stand 5 to 10 minutes or until mixture becomes bubbly.
In small saucepan, combine remaining honey with milk, butter and salt.
Cook over low heat until butter melts. Remove from heat.
Cool to lukewarm.
Stir in yeast mixture. Combine wheat germ and whole wheat flour in a large mixing bowl. Add liquid mixture.
Stir until smooth.
Add enough flour to make a soft dough.
Turn out onto a lightly floured surface.
Knead until smooth and elastic, about 10 minutes.
Place dough in a large lightly greased bowl.
Turn dough over to bring greased side up. Cover with greased waxed paper and a towel.
Let rise in warm place until doubled in bulk, about 1 hour.
