Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
    3 c. water
    2 medium onions, minced
    1 (16 oz.) can cream-style corn
    1 c. frozen corn
    2 oz. salt pork (1/4 diced)
    2 or 3 large potatoes (1/2 dice)
    1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
Preparation
    Brown salt pork in 3-quart saucepan.
    Add onions and saute until they begin to turn yellow.
    Add the water and bring to a boil.
    Add the potatoes, creamed corn and frozen corn; reduce heat and simmer for 35 minutes.
    Add salt, pepper, milk and butter; simmer for 5 minutes and serve.
