Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    2/3 c. milk
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
    2 to 3 medium ripe peaches, peeled and sliced thinly
    1 cube butter or margarine
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, except peaches.
    Melt butter in a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
    Pour mix over melted butter.
    Add sliced peaches; sprinkle with cinnamon.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Serve with or without vanilla ice cream.
