Home Fries - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 2 lb. red potatoes (2 to 4 potatoes)
    1/4 to 1/2 stick butter
    1/2 c. minced onion
    1 Tbsp. minced garlic
    salt and pepper as desired
Preparation
    Place potatoes in a pot.
    Cover with water.
    Boil until tender (20 to 30 minutes).
    Drain and place potatoes in a bowl. Refrigerate until cool.
    Cut potatoes in 1/2 to 1-inch pieces.
