Day Before Salad(Serves 10) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head lettuce
    1 medium chopped onion
    1 medium chopped bell pepper
    6 stalks chopped celery
    crumbled bacon
    1 pkg. frozen English peas, cooked, drained and chilled
    mayonnaise
    sugar
    Parmesan cheese, grated
Preparation
    Layer lettuce and chopped vegetables, saving enough lettuce for top layer.
    Layer the peas and last layer of lettuce.
    Cover with mayonnaise.
    Add thick layer of Parmesan cheese and refrigerate a day or two. Crumble 1/2 pound of cooked crisp bacon and spread on top.
    Looks pretty in deep glass bowl.
