Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. round steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
    8 oz. sour cream
    1/2 medium onion, chopped
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. cooking oil
    1 envelope Lipton onion and mushroom soup mix
    8 oz. pkg. egg noodles, cooked
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown cubed steak with chopped onion until onion is tender and meat is browned on all sides.
    Add water and simmer covered for 5 minutes.
    Stir in soup mix and sour cream, salt and pepper.
    Cook until thickened.
    Serve over egg noodles.
    Serves 4.
