Strawberry Ice Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. Duncan Hines strawberry supreme cake mix
    1 pt. softened strawberry ice cream
    1 (8 oz.) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
    fresh strawberries (for garnish)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
    Prepare, bake and cool cake following package directions. Place cake layer on cooling racks in jelly-roll pan.
    Freeze 2 hours or until cake layers are firm.
    Place cake layer on serving plate.
    Spread softened ice cream to edges.
    Place second layer on top of ice cream.
    Freeze assembled cake until ice cream is firm. Frost sides and top of cake with whipped topping.
    Garnish with fresh strawberries.
    Store in freezer until ready to serve.
