Ingredients

2 pkg. active dry yeast or 2 cakes compressed yeast
1/2 c. water water
3/4 c. milk, scalded
1/3 c. shortening or margarine
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
5 c. sifted flour
24 cooked, pitted prunes
Preparation

Soften the active dry yeast in warm water, compressed yeast in lukewarm water.
