New England Style Clam Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. raw potatoes, diced
2 1/2 c. water
1 tsp. salt
4 slices bacon
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 c. evaporated milk
2 c. chopped clams and liquid
Preparation

Cook potatoes, water and salt until tender.
Cut bacon into small pieces and fry until almost cooked.
Add onion and cook slowly until bacon is completely cooked.
Combine all cooked ingredients in one pot and add milk and clams.
Bring to a boil, however do not boil.
