Holiday Fruitcake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. ready-to-mix Borden mincemeat
1/2 c. water
1 c. walnuts, coarsely chopped
1 c. (8 oz.) candied fruit, chopped
1 (13 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1 egg, beaten
3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Put package of mincemeat, broken, with 1/2 cup water and boil briskly for 1 minute. Cool. Combine the mincemeat, nuts, candied fruit, sweetened condensed milk and egg. Blend well. Stir in flour and baking soda; pour into a loaf pan that has been greased and floured. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until center comes back when lightly touched.
