Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. almond extract
2 1/4 c. sifted flour
Preparation

Cut in butter, shortening and sugar, creaming well.
Blend in almond extract and sifted flour, mixing well.
Roll dough into balls, using 1 level tablespoon of dough for each cookie.
Press and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Place on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven.
Cook for 8 minutes.
