Quick Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes, chopped and undrained
    1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 c. instant rice
Preparation
    Brown the beef in a skillet; crumble.
    Drain off fat.
    Add remaining ingredients except rice, stir to mix well; bring to a boil.
    Add the instant rice; cover and remove from heat.
    Let stand for 5 minutes.
