Fried Do-Nut Holes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. melted shortening
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. milk
    3 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Beats eggs; add shortening and sugar and beat well.
    Add remaining ingredients and stir in.
    Drop by spoonfuls into hot grease and fry until brown on all sides.
    Coat hot do-nut holes in cinnamon/sugar mixture.
    Dough can be made ahead and refrigerated.
