Mom'S Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
    1 c. oats (Mother's)
    1/2 c. shortening (Wesson oil)
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over oats; let stand while you cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs.
    Mix all together.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
