Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 stick margarine (4 oz.)
1 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. molasses
1 egg
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients.
Blend in margarine, buttermilk, and molasses.
Put in unbeaten eggs and mix.
Beat by hand 20 strokes. Butter and flour a 9 x 9 x 5-inch glass pan, or 8 x 12-inch aluminum pan.
Pour in mixture and bake at 340\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 heat for 45 minutes.
The bigger the dish, the less heat.
