Cheese Quiche - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 (10 to 11 oz.) pkg. pie crust mix
4 large eggs
2 c. half and half
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 lb. Jarlsberg or Swiss cheese, shredded (1 c.)
Preparation

About 1 1/4 hours before serving, prepare pie crust mix as label directs for 1 crust pie; use to line 9-inch pie plate. Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
In medium bowl, with wire whisk or fork, mix eggs, half and half, salt and pepper until well blended. Sprinkle shredded cheese in pie crust.
Pour egg mixture over cheese.
Bake quiche 15 minutes, turn oven control to 325\u00b0 and bake for 35 minutes longer or until knife inserted in center of quiche comes out clean.
Makes 6 main dish servings.
