Irish Whiskey Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow cake mix
    double strength coffee
    2 Tbsp. bourbon or scotch
    1 large carton Cool Whip
Preparation
    Make yellow cake according to directions, except substitute double strength coffee for water called for.
    Bake in two round layers.
    When layers are cool, split them in half.
    Sprinkle 1 tablespoon whiskey on each cut, except for rounded top.
    Spread Cool Whip on each cut surface and top.
    Stack layers.
    Refrigerate 8 hours (24 is better).
