Hot Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes
    5 to 6 slices bacon
    1/3 c. bacon fat
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. sugar or as sweet as desired
    1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper
    3/4 c. water
    1/2 c. vinegar or equal to amount of sugar used
Preparation
    Boil potatoes in skins. Peel and slice thin. Cook bacon until crisp, then cook onion in bacon fat. Mix in flour, sugar, salt and pepper. Stir water in gradually. Add vinegar gradually. Cook and stir until it boils for 1 minute. Pour over potatoes. Add the bacon. Cover and let stand until ready to serve.
