Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. corn meal
1 c. flour
1 egg
3 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 small chopped onion
1/4 c. milk
hot grease

Preparation

Mix together.
You may add a little more milk if needed.
Drop by teaspoon into hot, boiling grease.
Fry until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
