Lemon Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 eggs, separated
    1 lb. butter
    4 c. plain flour
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 oz. lemon extract
    2 slices candied pineapple
    1/4 lb. red cherries
    1/4 lb. green cherries
    1 lb. nuts
    1 (10 oz.) box raisins
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; sift baking powder and flour together and add to butter mixture, alternating with egg yolks. Add lemon extract, fruits and nuts; add stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake at 275\u00b0 for 2 hours.
