Flaky Yellow Pastry - cooking recipe

Ingredients

5 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. shortening
2 egg yolks, beaten with enough cold water to fill scant c.

Preparation

Cut shortening into dry ingredients.
Very gradually add egg/water mixture while gently mixing with fork.
Don't overwork dough.
