Low-Fat Herbal Hash Brown Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 small (1 1/2) or 4 large potatoes, sliced thin (about 1/8-inch and about 3/4 inch)
    5 garlic cloves more or less, sliced as thin as possible
    1/2 medium onion, sliced thinly
    8 sage leaves more or less, cut in 1/8 inch to 1/16 inch strips or use dry sage or your favorite herb
    3 pinches turmeric root powder (optional)
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 Tbsp. oil (olive, sesame or almond)
Preparation
    Steam potatoes over steamer until sticky and not quite done, still hard.
    Include garlic, onion and herbs in steamer.
    Turn frequently.
    For serving 4, you may want to steam a batch of potatoes, set aside and steam the other half with herbs.
