Deer Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. diced deer meat
    1 large onion
    salt and pepper to season
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 tsp. crushed red pepper
    1 tsp. crushed basil leaves
    6 potatoes
    4 carrots
    3 strips bacon
Preparation
    Cut deer up into small pieces; boil for about 1 hour and a half on medium-high.
    Dice onion, potatoes and carrots; add to boiled meat after half hour cooking.
    Add all other ingredients and continue cooking for the other hour.
    Serves 3 to 6.
