Date Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine or butter
    1 8 oz. chopped dates
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg beaten
    1 1/2 to 2 c. Rice Crispies
    1 to 2 c. flaked coconut
    sheet of aluminum foil
Preparation
    Cook over low heat first 4 ingredients for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in 1 1/2 cups Rice Crispies.
    Add rest of Rice Crispies if needed.
    Prepare aluminum foil with part of coconut; spread over to put mixture on adding more coconut as needed.
