Peppered Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sirloin steak
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. chopped green peppers
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 c. chopped celery
    2 tomatoes, wedges or 1 pt. canned tomatoes
    1 1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Cut steak in strips.
    Mix garlic, soy sauce, salt and 1/4 cup water.
    Add steak.
    Marinate steaks 1 hour (longer if possible) tossing occasionally.
    Drain steak.
    Save the marinade.
