Quick "N" Hearty Mushroom Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced or 2 cans mushrooms (6 to 8 oz. each)
salad oil
1 lb. hamburger
1 can whole tomatoes, crushed
1 can (10 3/4 oz. size) beef broth
2 soup cans water
2 tsp. onion powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/2 c. Minute rice
Preparation

Saute mushrooms in a little oil; set aside.
Brown hamburger, draining off fat.
Add tomatoes, mushroom mix, broth, water and seasonings.
Bring to boil.
Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes.
Stir in rice and cover.
Set aside for 5 minutes. Makes 9 cups.
