Old-Timey Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. self-rising flour
3 c. buttermilk
1 c. lard
1 tsp. sugar
Preparation

Sift flour and cut lard into mixture.
Add sugar and buttermilk; mix well with hands.
Roll out and place apart on baking sheet that has been greased with margarine.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for about 18 minutes, or until brown on the bottom, then broil tops until golden brown.
Brush margarine over the tops while hot.
