10 Day Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 average head cabbage
    2 medium onions, sliced
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 c. salad oil
    1 c. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. celery seed
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1 c. white sugar
Preparation
    Chop or shred cabbage.
    Add sliced onions and chopped green peppers.
    Pour white sugar over cabbage mixture and let stand while mixing dressing.
    Heat oil, vinegar, celery seed and salt to a rolling boil.
    Pour immediately over cabbage.
    Store in refrigerator.
    Keeps 10 days.
