Ingredients

1 1/2 c. cooked rice
1 1/2 c. milk
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1 beaten egg
2/3 c. raisins
1 Tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
nutmeg or cinnamon (optional)
Preparation

Combine rice, milk, sugar and salt; cook until creamy (15 to 20 minutes).
Blend milk and egg and stir into rice mixture.
Add raisins and cook 2 minutes.
Add butter and vanilla; sprinkle with nutmeg or cinnamon (optional).
