Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. quick oats
1 c. shredded coconut
2 c. Rice Krispies
Preparation

Cream shortening and brown sugar first; then add white sugar and cream together.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Sift dry ingredients together and add to mixture.
Add oats and coconut.
Fold in Rice Krispies last, so as not to break them.
