German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. salad potatoes
    1 lb. bacon, cut in small pieces
    3 heaping Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. vinegar (white)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Boil potatoes; skin and slice into pieces.
    Fry bacon; drain off all fat.
    Sprinkle flour over bacon; mix it up.
    Pour vinegar, sugar and water over bacon.
    Simmer until thick.
    Pour over potatoes; mix well.
    Serve warm.
