Potato Cheese Puffs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. mashed potatoes
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. milk
8 oz. shredded American or Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
salt and pepper to taste
oil for frying
Preparation

Combine all ingredients except for oil; mix well.
Pour about 2 inches of oil into frying pan; get oil hot but not smoking, or use Fry Daddy.
Drop batter by tablespoons, 4 to 5 at a time, into hot oil.
Fry 3 to 4 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve immediately.
Makes about 24 puffs.
