Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    2 Tbsp. ice water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    5 c. all-purpose flour
    dash of nutmeg
Preparation
    Cream the sugar, shortening, salt and nutmeg.
    Add eggs and ice water; work in flour.
    Roll out on floured board; cut in desired shape.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
    May be sprinkled with sugar while still warm, if desired.
