Christmas Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (5 cent) pkg. lemon-limeade mix
    2 c. sugar
    2 qt. water
    46 oz. can pineapple juice
    2 qt. ginger ale
    1/2 gal. lime sherbet ice cream
Preparation
    Combine aid, sugar, water and pineapple juice.
    Just before serving, add ginger ale.
    Pour the entire mixture over ice cream.
