Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bacon ends
    1 medium size onion, diced
    1/2 green pepper, diced
    1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
    1 1/2 c. water
    3/4 c. uncooked rice
    1/2 c. tomato sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
    Fry bacon ends.
    Saute onion and green pepper in 3 tablespoons of bacon fat in a large skillet until tender.
    Add all other ingredients.
    Cook slowly, covered, approximately 45 minutes. Sprinkle crumbled bacon ends on top and serve.

    6 servings.
