Ingredients

1 c. margarine
3/4 c. light brown sugar
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. water
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
Preparation

Beat softened margarine, brown and white sugars, vanilla, water and eggs in a large bowl with electric mixer until creamy and thoroughly blended.
Preheat oven to moderate 375\u00b0.
By hand, stir in flour, baking soda and salt until well mixed.
Stir in chocolate pieces.
