Hot Pepper Relish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

24 hot peppers
12 medium onions
boiling water (just to cover peppers and onions)
4 c. vinegar
2 c. sugar
1/4 c. salt
2 tsp. mustard seed
cold water (to cover peppers and onions)
Preparation

Chop peppers and onions.
Pour boiling water over peppers and onions, then drain.
Cover with cold water.
Bring to boiling point, then drain again.
Put vinegar, salt, sugar and mustard seed in another pan and bring to boil.
Add to peppers and onions and boil 1 minute.
Fill jars and seal.
